Your MSIC is a national card. An MSIC issued by ClientView is valid at the Port of Wyndham and at every other security regulated port and offshore facility in Australia.
Kimberley Ports Authority's Wyndham Port Handbook, version 2.2 of July 2025, is the clearest operator statement of the requirement at any Kimberley port: it states that all people seeking unescorted access to the port's Landside Restricted Zone and Waterside Restricted Zone must hold and display a valid MSIC at all times when within the port, and it names the Port Manager as the Port Facility Security Officer. The handbook sets out port and security procedures rather than card application routes, so confirm current induction and site access arrangements with Kimberley Ports Authority or your employer before your first visit.

A Maritime Security Identification Card shows that you have met the background checking requirements for unmonitored access to a maritime security zone at an Australian port, on a ship or at an offshore facility. It is issued under the Maritime Transport and Offshore Facilities Security Regulations 2003, made under the Maritime Transport and Offshore Facilities Security Act 2003.

No. Any criminal history declaration required for an MSIC is made to AusCheck, not to ClientView. As your issuing body, ClientView does not collect or assess criminal history. AusCheck advises us of the outcome only.
Renew before the expiry date to keep continuous access, since an expired card means no unmonitored access from day one. If your card is lost, stolen or damaged, apply for a replacement straight away.
