Methodology
Stage 1 timing is measured internally by ClientView from the latest recorded of an application's complete, paid and identity-verified timestamps to the timestamp it is lodged with AusCheck, across all ClientView applications in the stated period. Identity verification is not recorded for every application, and where it is absent the latest of the remaining timestamps is used. The 75% Stage 2 figure is AusCheck's own published national guidance, not independently audited by ClientView. The 93.2% figure is measured internally by ClientView from lodgement date to AusCheck approval date, across all 4,544 ClientView applications lodged from January 2025 to June 2026. An application counts as cleared only where AusCheck's approval is dated on or after lodgement and within 21 calendar days of it; applications ClientView lodged that AusCheck had not approved are counted as not cleared. It describes ClientView's own applicants only, is not a benchmark of other issuing bodies, and is not a prediction of any individual outcome. This page is updated on the 1st of every month.

Corrected, and the correction is larger than a restamp. The 98.7% clearance figure was calculated by dividing applications cleared within three weeks from one population by the total of a different, smaller population, so 223 applications were counted in a total they had been removed from. On a single consistent population, every application ClientView lodged in the period, the measured rate is 93.2%. The 3,832-application sample size could not be reproduced from ClientView's records on any definition and is replaced by the 4,544 applications actually lodged in the period. The Stage 1 median of 1 business day was the median of a different stage, approval to card despatch; the measured Stage 1 median is 4 business days. Four further figures were remeasured in the same pass: median AusCheck clearance 2 days to 3 days, cards despatched within 2 business days of approval 87% to 91%, median identity verification to card despatch 11 days to 17 days, and that stage's two-week and three-week shares from 62% and 76% to 42% and 61%. Every figure on this page is now measured on a population the methodology states, from ClientView's application records as at 1 September 2026.
